Hi Julia Shuber is an Architectural Designer and her inspiration in architecture comes from travels, nature and emotions. The diverse world has always given her a new perspective on how we can improve sustainability within our mission while still sharing and understanding diversity. Through her work, she strives to positively affect how people live and the way they treat the environment.
These principles led to her current Julia’s role has been about improving the well-being of the civic realm, including spaces and buildings that represent our society’s larger goals and aspirations.
Education
Julia holds a Bachelor in Architecture from Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering where she focused on the urban, public and residential projects and design of a sustainable primary eco-school and kindergarten “Vigvam” as a diploma degree (honors diploma). She graduated from the BAC in Boston with a Master of Architecture in the winter of 2023.
As the SIC Project Manager, she is responsible for working closely with firm principals and architects to explore project feasibility studies, visiting sites and doing architectural design drawings, documentation and project visualizations and other related tasks. She assists with all phases of a project including preliminary design, schematic design, design development, construction drawings, and construction administration.
Previously, she worked as an architect-constructor at engineering company “Energoross”, in her home country of Russia and focused on the designing of technical buildings, boiler housings and energy centers in different cities in Russia.
