Ben Perterson

BENEFIT DIRECTOR

Hi Ben is the Community Design Director at the Boston Society for Architecture, where he works to build collaborative partnerships between designers and the City of Boston’s multiple public stakeholders. He was previously an Education Director at the Boston Architectural College, where was responsible for the Gateway program and the Huxtable Fellowship in Civic Engagement. He is committed to advancing equitable pathways for design practice, building relationships across multiple fields and lived experiences.

Education

He received his undergraduate degrees in Anthropology and Environmental Studies at Bowdoin College and his Master of Architecture degree from the Rhode Island School of Design.

As the SIC Benefit Director, he is responsible for overseeing benefits and impact areas of the Collective.
