SIC is partnering with the Union Club of Boston to explore feasibility and viability studies for potential recreational roof deck and improving accessibility strategies on the Historic Building at 8 Park Street, Boston. Located on The Beacon Hill Architectural Commission (BHAC) district, the exploration seeks ways to maintain the historical character, architectural design, and materials of the building or its setting while maximizing opportunities for outdoor recreation space for the Union Club members.

Built in 1809 for John Gore, the house at 8 Park Street underwent a complete remodeling in 1838 for Abbott Lawrence under the supervision of Gridley J. F. Bryant.
